Hayley orrantia was born in America. She's primarily an actress, but she's also a songwriter and singer. Most people recognise her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. She believes that she is an artist first and foremost. Music, according to her, is first thing she enjoys. She started playing with the instrument at the age of nine. When she was 12, music became significant enough that she was able to pursue a career in music. In 2013, she picked on songwriting and produced her first album. It hasn't turned around ever since. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. She's proud of her existence of Hispanic roots despite in English only, and did not live in Mexico. She endeavours to maintain it through learning to speak Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. She has recorded the Spanish version of a song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was awarded four "yeses" by the panel of judges on the Seattle live auditions after being selected from her YouTube submission. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she and three female singers were put with three other singers for the last auditions during "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated during the fifth week during the live shows.
