Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for over forty years. Most famously, she is known because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). Her acting career began as a stage performer in the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. That same year, she released Her first album, It's time for Tina. Her debut appearance in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, a 1958 drama. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. In the course of this film, she was joined the Actors Studio in New York and developed her association with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next role that she played was Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on with in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career in between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing more serious roles as contrast to her image of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned her name as a successful director in several well-known television series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex August 28th on the 28th of August, 1965. The family relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained there ever since.
