David-Muir
David Muir is an American anchor and journalist most well-known for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir in addition to the ABC News magazine 20/20, for where he acts as an anchor and co-anchor. Its dramatic video footage and the animated movements make it the most popular newscast in the United States. Made In America has also been nominated for Emmys. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. In the past the anchor has been on numerous ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He has traveled around across the globe covering stories that concern Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He has been awarded multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as honors of The Associated Press.
