David Muir is an American journalist and anchor who is best known for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir in addition to the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he's an anchor co-anchor. With its animated gestures and dramatic videos of celebrity gossip the show has grown into America's top newscast. Also, he is known for the Emmy-nominated series Made In America. Prior to taking over ABC World News Tonight he was the main substitute anchor for the anchor who was his predecessor Diane Sawyer.
