Zoe-perry
Perry was born to Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mother in each of the two shows she starred in on Roseanne. Her parents did not allow her to start acting with her parents till she reached the age of adulthood because they were afraid of the stress it would create. Perry shy and shy for acting in school, began to perform at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Following her graduation, Perry went in New York to search for TV work, landing a few roles in series like Law & Order: Criminal Intent but homesickness brought Perry back home to California where she found theater jobs. In 2013, she appeared in The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. The show featured her father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in 2015 at The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry played a role in 9 episodes of The Family, an ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. In 2017, she was a part-time character in ABC's political thriller Scandal which starred her father. She also played the young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was which is a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. She was cast in the role despite having a close familial connection to the character.
