Heavyweight several times. Johnson has turned his popularity in wrestling into a career in cinema, appearing in movies such as The Mummy Returns (2001) as well as Tooth Fairy (2010). The next projects include The HBO series Ballers notable roles in his role in the Fast & Furious franchise and the Jumanji sequels and a character voice actor role in Maui on Moana, the Disney movie Moana. Johnson was birthed at Hayward California, on May 2, 1972. Johnson is the son and professional wrestler Rocky Johnson and his mother Ata. Peter Maivia, his maternal grandfather, became famous in the 1970s when he became High Chief. Johnson's childhood was spent traveling and watching his father wrestle in the boxing ring. Johnson started playing football throughout his high school years and he soon obtained a full scholarship to The University of Miami where he excelled. He graduated with his Bachelor of General Studies (criminology and biology) in the same academic year.
